According to Dorian Rogozenko in his book "The entire battle is around Black's two weaknesses: the d6 and e6 pawns. White must always keep pressure on them and at the same time try to transfer the knight to d3. The only real chance for White to break through is the advance c4-c5, therefore the knight tour to d3 is. 4.) One of the best Sveshnikov books is the quite old "Sveshnikov Reloaded" from Dorian Rogozenko. That are more or less the resources I can recommend based on the given information. Be aware, that Bb5+ variation after d6 doesn't help you much if you want to play the Sveshnikov.

Alas, Krasenkow's book, while certainly readable, is already outdated. You should supplement it with The Sveshnikov Reloaded by Rogozenko. BTW, I would also check up on Krasenkow in to verify whether he still plays the Sveshnikov. He seemed a lifetime practitioner, but you never know.
I have played the Sveshnikov for about 15 years now, using Rogozenko's 'Sveshnikov Reloaded' as reference. That book is very good but soon 16 years old and I would very much like to cross check with a newer book. From my cursory research, Kotronias' book in the Grandmaster Repertoire series is still the best work on the opening but of course.
The Sveshnikov Reloaded explains the ideas very well with plenty of textual analysis and not only pages of long variations with only Informant type evaluation symbols. I have the book at home (even though I mainly play Najdorf and accelerated Dragon Sicilians), and I remember that one of things that pleases me most in this book is Rogozenko's.
